[PT] Awkward Encounters (Takneil Valoren)

Echo entered the building quite unexpectedly, or rather, against her will. She'd hoped to at least get a good glance at the exterior of the grand 'School of Scholars', but the bustling crowd heading into the school had caught her completely offguard so it didn't take long for the girl to be completely swept up in the flow. Despite her desperate struggles and cries for help, within the next 10 minutes Echo was standing inside the first floor, though no one would probably realize it with all of the trees and plants. The cieling was arced and lit up like the day sky, and if she were brought here without realizing it, Echo thought to herself that she would mistake this for the outside world. As she mused about all of this in a deep reverie, the girl suddenly came to the realization that she'd caught a break in the crowd (thank god) and was, unsurprisingly, lost. "Just my luck..." She mumbled sourly. There were still several people about, and Echo had to rise up to her toes to get a half-decent glance around the area. She couldn't spot the exit nor entrance to the next floor level. Naturally, she reached out towards the nearest stranger to ask for directions, but as she approached the people in front of her, Echo hesitated and withdrew. Still can't do it... She gave an exasperated sigh and started towards a nearby bench. Unfortunately, it seems another army of students made it through the front doors because the next thing she knew, Echo was being pushed through a sea of people (again). By chance, she spotted a fluffy rescue line standing to the side of the crowd and she reached forward, triumphantly grabbing a hold of it. She used it promptly as an anchor and pulled herself out, only to find she had a firm hold on someone else's tail.

The boy yawned lazily as he laid on the soft grass, he must have been laying at that spot all morning?, maybe all night?, there could be no way to tell...for him days and nights blurred together each day passing without anything exciting happening.

rolling over he frowned as he heard the stomping of several rushing students. sitting up groggily the boy's wolfish ears twitched as a familiarly annoying question woke him more than the stomping...'Is that a Reignum?, I thought they died off ages ago?'. sighing Takneil stood his long, bushy tail rising as if it was just waking itself, that question had always perturbed the boy...why wouldn't they just ask him themselves and maybe they would find the answer. letting the frustration subside Takneil stretched out his arms, the breeze was a bit chilly...if it wasn't for the fact his coat had Braenum written all over it he would have though instead he had to wear a white shirt with a collar that always made him feel like he was on a leash.

With Noxus Lamina strapped to his back The boy slowly made his way down the side of a path...why the side? well he didn't want his tail to get stomped on by rushing imbeciles who had no common courtesy, he could feel his stomach begin to roil with hunger...what better way to solve that then grabbing a bite from the vending machine.

Takneil yelped as a sharp sensation shot through his tail, Letting out a string of curses the boy pulled away from the side of the path as a girl did the same only to his tail. Whirling towards the culprit he yanked his tail away from her setting an sky blue gaze to hers. "Do you mind!?"

Echo glanced up in shock at the animal partial standing before her. To say he intimidated her was an understatement. For a moment, she thought she saw a flicker of anger behind his blue gaze, a dangerous light she'd seen in bad men in the past, and the girl froze up. This only lasted a second of course, because he really only sounded slightly angry and annoyed, but Echo barely recovered from her massing falter. To make matters worse, the moment he pulled his tail away Echo lost balance and slammed face first into the ground. Fortunately, her surface of impact was the soft grass rather than the harsh pavement. "S-sorry..." She mumbled as she got to her feet. Echo brushed the dirt off her clothing, releived to find no scrapes or bruises from her fall. She then turned her attention back to the person in front of her. "I know it was unintentional... but thank you for saving me from that crowd!" She bowed slightly and awkwardly before the Reignum. Then, standing up straight, she held out a hand. "I'm Echo, you?" The girl took a chance and introduced herself.

after blowing on his tail a few times to ease the pain Takneil let it go so that it could slightly sway from side to side as he crossed his arms, he had originally chosen this form to remove attention from himself but it seemed as though it provided the opposite effect. The boy let his gaze grow soft and curious as he watched the girl fall, he had to stop himself from aiding the girl...he gained slight amusement from the ordeal as punishment for grabbing his tail.

eyeing the girl as she introduced herself Takneil couldn't help but sigh and grasp her hand with his. "Takneil, and you're welcome?...I guess" he states not really sure if he liked the idea of using his tail to save people more often. letting his wolfish grin form the boy turns from Echo. "but the way I see it is you owe me one."
